Officials in many Eastern and Central Wilayas are in a race against time to contain the losses of bad weather that have returned again on Monday, after a slight improvement of weather on Sunday, as they rushed to form cells of crisis and declare a state of emergency in anticipation of facing any danger after precipitation of torrential rains and snow, especially in the center and east of the country, while the services of civil protection intensified interventions to evacuate the wounded in various incidents caused by bad weather, which will continue until Thursday.

Many Wilayas of the east did not get rid of the results of the recent bad weather, as many families living in countrysides and villages in Mila suffer isolation, due to interruption of roads that are covered by snow, while authorities in some municipalities of Souk Ahras are unable to deliver butane gas to the population, as is the case for residents of villages in Setif, Batna and Bordj Bouariridj, while the accumulation of ice layers in Constantine caused total paralysis of some roads.
In Bejaia snow introduced the pupils of villages in a compulsory holidays, after preventing the arrival of school buses to the villages, as they are unable to reach schools since the whole week, just like municipalities of Kendira, Tizi Nbarbar and others, and the same thing is happening in the schools of the municipalities of Tizi Ouzou, where snow still impedes traffic.

General Directorate of Civil Protection showed that the period from 10 to 11 February, recorded more than 1956 interventions, mostly following request for help from the citizens as a result of bad weather, as Algiers counted 10 interventions, including 4 interventions due to leakage of water into the houses in each of Bab Eloued municipality, and Avenue of Bab Azzun, and Boumati, as well as the street of Mokrane Shaabi in Sidi M'hamed, and Ibrahim Zaraka in Kasba, as they also recorded interventions because of the outbreak of electrical sparks in neighborhoods, like Draria, Bab Ezzouar and Kasba, without recording any losses. The civil protection intervened in the neighborhood of Basta Ali in Bab El Oued, Rabah Bitat and Omar ben Issa in the Kasba because of the falling stones.
The special bulletin of the services of Meteorology shows that weather will begin to stabilize relatively starting from Thursday, from the northwestern regions of the nation, while amounts of rainfall reached more than 70 mm, as Aicha Karrouche, in charge of communication at the National Meteorology Office, said that the weather will remain unstable until Wednesday, cloudy and cold on the whole, with torrential rain and cold and snow in the interior highlands, with a height of more than 600 meters, while the wind speed will reach between 40 to 60 km / h.
